Victorian Stacey Keating finished the 2015/16 ALPG Tour season in style winning the Brisbane International at McLeod Country Golf Club followed up by a playoff loss at the BWAC Yamba pro-am 2 days later.

These finishes ensured that she passed long-time leader New Zealand’s Cathryn Bristow to win the 2016 ALPG Club Car Series, and also collected a $5000 bonus provided jointly by McLeod Country Golf Club and Yamba Golf Club for the best performed player over both events.

This all meant that in a period of three days Keating walked away with $17,750 in prizemoney to finish her 2016 ALPG Tour season.

The 29 year old, who won 3 events on the 2015/16 ALPG Tour was obviously delighted to win her second ALPG Club Car Series. “It has been a great season and this is a good way to finish. I have been playing well the past few weeks without seeing the results so it is a good feeling to finish this way. Thanks so much to Kevin Gates and Club Car for their sponsorship, it is great that we have the Club Car bonus pool to play for across our pro-ams”

Club Car representative Kevin Gates was delighted to present Keating with her second Club Car Series trophy, announcing that ClubCar had recently extended their sponsorship of the ALPG Club Car Series for an additional three years.
