Karrie Webb had a final round of even par to finish a commendable tied 5th position at the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Mission Hills Country Club, California.

Inbee Park took her three shot lead into the final round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship and never looked back. The South Korean continued her putting prowess she exhibited all week and carded a 3-under 69 on Sunday en route to the four-stroke victory and her second-career major title. The win marks the third-straight South Korean to win an LPGA Tour major championship and fifth of the last seven.

Inbee took the traditional jump in the Poppie’s Pond after her win with Brad, her caddy, her fiancée, trainer and 3 friends.

“It was great,” she said of the big splash into the pond, where she filled an empty water bottle to save for her father. “That‘s the pond I’ve always wanted to jump in, and I finally jumped. It was a little bit chilly, though.”

Her countrywoman, So Yeon Ryu had the lowest round of the week, a bogey-free 7 under 65 to secure 2nd spot. Swede’s Caroline Hedwall finished tied 3rd with Norwegian Suzann Petersen.

Webb could not get the gear going with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys for an even par finish, 9 shots behind the winner.

Off the other Australians in the field, Sarah Jane Smith finished tied 32nd after a final round of 2 over, 74.

Lindsey Wright had a disappointing final round of 7 over, 79 to finish 73rd in the field.

New Zealander Lydia Ko, the top ranked amateur in the world secured the top amateur honours after her final round of 2 under, 70.

Today's round was easily her best of the week, following a 72, 74 and 71.The 15-year-old Kiwi started the day tied at one-over par with Stephanie Meadow, but the Northern Irishwoman could only manage an even-par 72 in the final round.
