They hold a slender one shot advantage over little known American Jacqui Concolino, with Kiwi amateur Lydia Ko, Japan’s Chie Arimura and Rolex World No.1 Inbee Park just two back.

Katherine Hull-Kirk is the leading Australian and starting to show some signs of returning to form. She posted a second round of four-under-par 67 to be at two-under and tied for 22nd position. The highlight of her round was a hole-in-one on the par 3 14th hole.

Fellow Queenslander Sarah Jane Smith was the only other Australian to make the cut, Smith carded a even par round of 71 to be at one-over-par and tied for 52nd.

The cut was made at two-over par, unfortunately for Sarah Kemp (+4), Frances Bondad (+5), Julia Boland (+9) and Bre Elliott (+13) wont be playing the week-end.
