At the halfway point of the 2014 Club Car Series, it is New South Wales Sarah Kemp who holds a slender lead over Queensland’s Bree Arthur.

The pair have put some distance between themselves and the rest of the eligible players after the opening four events.

Kemp, has been the most consistent ALPG player, picking up valuable points in all four events. She sits on top of the points table with 875.

Arthur, is just 25 points behind Kemp after a runner-up finish in Yamba and then a win in the Moss Vale Classic, where she earned the maximum 500 points on offer.

Sitting in third place at the moment is another NSW player, Corie Hou, she is on 300 points, a massive 550 points behind Arthur. New Zealand’s Stacey Tate is in fourth place with 262.5 point, while rookie Ashely Ona rounds out the top five on 250 points.

The Club Car Series continues today at Castle Hill Country Club in the Renault Ladies Pro-am. Then later this week the players have the chance to earn double points at the Bing Lee / Fujitsu General Women’s NSW Open being played at Oatlands Golf Club starting on Friday.
