The winners of the Volvik player incentives will be known come Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of the Oates Victorian Open.

Part of Volvik partnership with the ALPG involves a number player incentives. The player incentives were split into three categories and they all relate to player performances during the Club Car Series, which culminates this week-end. The categories are: the leading ALPG rookie, the leading ALPG member who is not on either the LPGA, Ladies European Tour (LET), or Symetra tours in 2014 and leading ALPG member who has playing status on either the LPGA, Symetra or LET tours.

The winners are based on who is the leading money winner in each category from those eligible from the Club Car Series.

Leading the ALPG Rookie heading into the final event is NSW Lauren Hibbert, she has $200 advantage over Qld’s Ashley Ona, with another NSW player, Adriana Brent another $1,000 behind. The leading rookie will receive a $1,000 Development Bonus from Volvik.

She holds a slender lead (<$150) over Jessica Speechley, with Vicky Thomas third in the standings with $2,715. Corie Hou is also in the mix if she has a good tournament. The player who wins this category receives a $2,000 bonus from Volvik.

ACT’s Nikki Campbell is on top of the final category, a player who is a member of the LPGA, LET or Symetra Tours. Campbell leads with $12,238 and is $3,359 in front of her nearest challenger, SA’s Stephanie Na, with Club Car Series points leader, Sarah Kemp a further $98 behind. Bree Arthur is currently fourth in the standing with $8,265.00 but unfortunately out of the equation after having to withdraw today through injury. Kristie Smith is back at $5,728 but not out of it considering first prize is $22,500 this week and she finished runner-up at this event last year. The winner of the final category will be offered a contract from Volvik in line with the standard contracted based on which tour they are on.
